Solar Studio Art Gallery to hold Artist Information Night
Solar Studio Art Gallery will be hosting an Artist Information Night on Thursday, May 12, 2011
where artists of all kinds are welcome to experience the Gallery first-hand, speak with
existing Member Artists, and receive information about how they can join this
growing cooperative of artists.
The Artist Information Night will give artists an opportunity to explore the Gallery in a relaxed setting, ask questions and learn about the benefits of being a Member and what Solar Studio can provide for its artists. In addition to that, artists can learn about selling their work in the Gallery on consignment. All types of artists and fine crafters are welcome including, but not limited to, painters, photographers, potters, wood carvers, fused or stained glass, jewellery, sculptors, fabric artists, etc.
Solar Studio Art Gallery was founded in January 2007 as a cooperative of local artists with the mission of providing an affordable, accessible venue for artists to display and sell their art. The gallery provides visitors the opportunity to view, discuss and buy art in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. It encourages young emerging artists and sparks a renewed interest in mature artists.
